Barely old enough to drink legally, The Cataracs have developed a sound truly their own. A group, as well as a production duo, their music touches on elements of pop, r&b, hip hop, rock, and dance music, with only one thing remaining constant…the unique personalities which make up The Cataracs. After becoming local celebrities in San Francisco thanks to their infamous “Technohop Dance Parties”, the Cata boys have continued to cultivate a worldwide following transcending cultural and racial boundaries, though always remaining true to their core fanbase…teenage girls. In the past year, The Cataracs have rocked clubs around the world with their high energy dance set, signed a record deal with Universal Republic, and produced records for some of the biggest artists in popular music.
